Saturday

Went to my aunts’ houses yesterday. One is my mum’s second sis, the other is my dad’s second sis. Cos they live just a few blocks away from each other, so we must make full use of the trip there xD Went to my dad’s side that aunt’s house first, just go to 拜年 and sit there awhile and talk.

After that went to the other aunt’s house. Had lunch. I liked the popiah alot ((: My dad and 2 uncles sang karaoke lol. Then we played with the 2 hamsters also. The hamsters are cute :D At first quite scared their claws sharp, but after that it was okay haha. And we watched TV. DVDs actually. Then dinner. Then alot of people went home. Played more with the hamsters, and I played Reversi with my cousin. He. Is. Damn. Pro. Seriously lah. I lost to him thrice in a row yesterday. And one time is haven’t even near ending already can tell that I have lost already ): Never win him before lor. Then we watched more TV. And I almost fell asleep. Cos the adults la, play so much cards, dunno play what, the game take so long to end. So we went home very late. My cousin&her bf sent us home.

Today

Today we had the first session of PA, Children’s Liturgy.

&& This year I’m spending 6 hours for church instead of last year’s 5, including 2 hours of travelling (although I usually take less than 1 hour for each trip). Cos 8am must reach, then prepare+set up until 9, then go to get the kids, then the whole session ends+packing up till about 9.45am, then prepare for next session till 10.40am, then attend 10.45am mass, leave church around 11.45am-12noon liddat, reach home around 1 (okay la, actually I today 12.35pm jiu reach home already). See, so much time right.

Anyway, I reached very early today lah, don’t know why. I already wake up 10minutes late liao lor. Still can reach so early. Then we started setting up the things. Felt so useless la, cos actually there’s not much I (and Alison) know how to do. We don’t know a single thing about the sound system, so we can only put the tables, chairs and whiteboard. Then slack around awhile, had prayer, before going to church to bring the children down to St Clare’s.

After that, we went to some part of the church which I knew existed, but never knew it’s so damn nice. I think it’s where the priests stay or something. The Youth Office also there. It’s so resort-like omg. Got a TV room, a room for pool (one table only, but still.), and got one foosball table. So cool, I want to play foosball! But don’t have the ball so can’t play… I think there’s still lots of other nice rooms just that we didn’t see. Priest life quite good also huh. Anyway, we went to the TV room (I don’t know if they call the room that, but since there is a TV set with lots of couches, I think it is.) for discussion. Prepare for next week’s session. It’s mainly the adults doing the thinking la, we all PA people all useless one.

Then went for mass with Alison before going to find Rika at her PA there. Rika looks different… (x Passed her her birthday present. Alison wrap one ;) But during mass I put in my bag, then after that the wrapping paper like abit crumpled liao ps. Anyway, very belated liao, like three weeks late haha. But at least managed to find time to give lah (: Then I went home.

Alison gave me a CNY present lol. It’s red&red haha. Okay la, it’s actually CNY-cum-belated present. And I still owe her 50cents actually, cos we were betting what schools the other girls in ChildLit are from. She guessed one correctly, I guessed all 3 wrong… Nevermind, I just buy something else extra for her birthday can liao (:

&& The ChildLit person was telling us that you should say “Good Morning, Jesus!” every morning when you wake up. Isn’t that like quite cool? I didn’t know there would be anyone who does that…!

My aunt and cousins are at my house now. But my parents entertain can liao, cos my cousins are adults already, don’t need me and my sis to entertain. They playing cards lor… And I’m stuck in the room doing homework. Sian la. Later my uncle might come up, and another aunt’s family coming up also.

Actually my other side the cousin invited us to her house, but then since my house also got visitors, can’t go liao…

Today is 人日, the seventh day of the lunar new year. My mum&dad&aunt&cousins going to go to Sakae to buy yusheng :D Sakae’s yusheng is nice! :DD I hope they buy a big one since there are so many people lao-ing. Better still, buy TWO! :D:D
